El fisicoculturista
Luis es un fisicoculturista novato que tiene en mente llegar a convertirse en el siguiente Míster Ecuador. Se muda a una ciudadela para abrir ‘El Gimnasio’. La primera en visitar el nuevo negocio es Marisol, una colegiala que lo pone de cabeza. Los enredos y mentiras con otras mujeres le hacen dar cuenta de que los sueños son tan frágiles como una burbuja. La novela se desarrolla a finales del 2012, ante la interrogante de Mónica sobre si el mundo se acabaría ese año, Luis se pregunta si el nuevo mundo al que empezó a pertenecer en la ciudadela será el que va a desaparecer.
